Roy J. Zimmerman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy J. Zimmerman of Alliance, Nebraska, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Zimmerman and Dorothy Miller Zimmerman; and his sisters, Jane Stanton and Jean Irvine. He is survived by: his son Charles of Alliance; and his siblings, Charles of Brighton, Dorothy Crocker of Omaha and Judy Buskirk of Bayard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bates-Gould Funeral Home (1020 W 10th St, Alliance, NE 69301). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery (2610 Co Rd 57, Alliance, NE 69301).
