He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Herrman and Lena M. Herrman (Sponsel); his brother-in-law Archie Wicke; and his niece Cindy Clark. He is survived by: his children, Ronda Weirich (Nathan) of Beatrice, NE and Ronnie Herrman of Alliance, NE; his grandchildren, Sydney Weirich of Beatrice, NE. and Hunter Weirich of Beatrice, NE.; and his siblings, Frank Herrman (Alice) of Salina, KS, Patty Wicke of Goodland, KS, Linda Miller (Curtis) of Salina, KS, Sharon Hartman (John) of Clifton, KS and Mary Lou Haller (Louis) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
