He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence J. Olson and Emma M. Olson (Duecker); his spouse Margy C. Christensen; his parents-in-law, Bill and Ruth Christensen; and his brother Bill (Jean Marchant).
He is survived by: his children, Jodi Sutphen (JD) of Hemingford, Amy Varner of Alliance and Brad Olson (Nina Schefcik) of Alliance; his grandchildren, Morgan Sutphen (Ashleigh) of Omaha, Peyton Sutphen (Autumn Hoff) of Chadron, Katelyn and Drew Varner of Alliance; his brother-in-law Melvin Christensen of Chadron; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Metz, Tori Marchant, Brian Fisher and Bill Christensen.
