He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Edward Brauninger and Jewel Huffman Brauninger; and his brothers, Gary and Kenneth. He is survived by: his children, Samuel James Brauninger and Teri Ann Brauninger Schledewitz (Roger); his great grandchildren, Aubrey and Jakob; and his siblings, Frank Edward, Jr., Stephen Crowl (Carolene) and Judith Crowl (Doug).
