He is survived by: his children, Schuyler Dawn (Shirley) of Alliance, Lela Schmidt of Lincoln, Jerry Dawn of Alliance, Gerald Dawn of Alliance and Sharla Dawn of Lincoln; and his sister Marilyn Crooked Eyes of Porcupine. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren and other extended family.
