She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Eddy and Mayme Eddy (Johnson); her husband Floyd E. Colwell; her son James; and her siblings, Leonard, Robert Eddy, Helen Johnson and Anna Mae Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lou Colwell (Romas Aleliunas) of Bellevue, WA, Daryl Colwell (Patty) of Alliance, NE, Kent Colwell (Lisa) of Hays, KS, Robert Colwell (Lola) of Fort Collins, CO, Greg Colwell (Amy) of Parker, CO and Jeff Colwell (Debbie) of Thornton, CO; and her siblings-in-law, Joan Colwell of Rushville, NE, Charlie Colwell of Rushville, NE, Roy Colwell (Nancy) of Omaha, NE and Jerry Colwell of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
