He was predeceased by: his cousin Lee Dauwen. He is survived by: his parents, Eugene O. Nerland and Luella A. Nerland (Dauwen); his sister Rachelle Pfeiffer; his niece McKenzie Pfeiffer; his nephew Alexander Pfeiffer; and his great-niece Dahliah Pfeiffer of Alliance. He is also survived by his parents, sister, niece, nephew, and great niece.
