She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Burke; her son James Burke; and her parents, Martin Fitzgerald and Hattie Fitzgerald. She is survived by: her children, Kathie Phillip (Jim) of Torrington, Tom Burke (Gail) of Alliance, Ed Burke (Dixie) of Alliance, Irene Heinle (Terry) of Winner, S. D and Mary; her grandchildren, Nick Phillip (Katrina), Brittany Feagler (Mark), Cody Phillip, Shelbee Burke, Christy Jelinek (Darren), Jamie Burnett (Owen), Lexie Heinle and Jordyn Heinle; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Jack Phillip, Maddux, Claire Feagler, Kealee, Kenley, Danny, Delaney Jelinek and Farrington Burnett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Academy in Alliance and the Nebraska Children's Home Society.
