He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Curtis and Edna Mae Garner (Evans). He is survived by: his wife Mari Garner of Hyannis; his children, Joshua Garner (Angela) of Torrington, WY, Jarvis Garner (Julie Thompson) of Gering, Maisie Petering (Joshua) of Alliance and Marli Anderson (David) of Glenwood, IA; and his siblings, Curtis Garner (Colleen) of Hemingford, Roxie Evans (James) of Bingham, Ginger Correll of Broken Bow, Robin Butrick (Dennis Thompson) of Lemoyne and Ted Garner of Paxton. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorials may be given to Sandhills Fire and Rescue, Grant County Rescue Squad, Road MC, or the donor's choice.
