She was predeceased by: her parents, Billye Rehders (Horn) and Lucian Rehders; her brothers, Anthony, Jerome and Joseph; and her brother-in-law Denis McBriarty.

She is survived by: her husband Carl E. Swenson; her children, Stephen Ring, Christopher Swenson (Diana), Bethany Heredia (Luis) and Jessica Swenson (Shandy); her grandchildren, Christian, Samantha, Carson, Violette, Eryn, Isabel, Emma, Gabriel and Laila; her great grandchild Sebastian; and her siblings, Susan Schimberg (Bill), Michelle McBriarty, Becky Johnson (Russell) and John Rehders (Shirley). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
