She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Watson and Malvory Watson (Zobel); her daughter-in-law Jeanie Shankland; her siblings, Betty Grant, Mary Ann Blackstone, Alice Twombly, Bonnie Egan, Ilene Christensen, George, Jesse, Dan, Bill and Jack Watson; and her brothers-in-law, Dick and Bob Shankland.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Shankland of Hyannis; her children, Gary Shankland of Bassett, Shari Shankland Redler of Lincoln and Joe Shankland (Craig) of Denver, Colorado.; her grandchildren, Jayde, Malvory, Rhegan, Payton (Zoe) and Alex; and her great grandchild Cheznie.
Memorials may be made to the Grant County Rescue in Hyannis.
