He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Powell and Ellen Powell; and his brothers, Lloyd Powell and Kenneth Dean Powell. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Powell (Jurgens); his sons, Gary Powell (Nancy) of Alliance, Dan Powell (Karen) of Tulsa, OK, David Powell (Melinda) of Gretna, NE and Greg Powell (Robin) of Alliance; his siblings, Marie Sorum and Ralph Powell; and his sister-in-law Marjorie Powell of Alliance. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
