He was predeceased by: his parents, John Debus and Frieda Debus (Schlager); his father-in-law Karl Blaylock; his brother Vern; his siblings-in-law, Joyce Debus, Phillip Blaylock, Fritz Huckfeldt, Robert Foster, Karla and Harv Bartel; his daughters-in-law, Laurie Debus (Stafford) and Nancy Debus (Beiber); his granddaughter Rylee Mae Bedient; and his pets, Tinker, Mandy and Sheena.

He is survived by: his wife Karen J Blaylock; his children, Brian of Alliance, Brent of Gering and Suzanne Bedient (Roger) of Alliance; his grandchildren, Paige Debus of Alliance, Kyle Debus (Katelynn) of Gering, Justin Debus (Jennifer Figueroa) of Jessica Debus, AJ, Kaycee Bedient Mosley (Katie) of Lincoln, Cherity Bedient, Evin Bedient of Alliance and Amanda Klever (Nick) of St. Paul, MN; his great grandchildren, Leah Johnson, Anastasia Looser of Alliance, Jenna Debus of Gering, Steven Long (Bedient), Addisyn and Brecken Bedient of Alliance; his sister Nancy Huckfeldt of Sheridan, WY; his sister-in-law Paula Foster of Alliance; and his pet Juliette. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
