He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Galinsky and Elfriede Galinsky (Weiss); his wife Inge Lenhardt; and his siblings, Helmet and Lotte.

He is survived by: his son Kenneth; his grandsons, Kevin and Brent; his great grandchildren, Michael, Kaylea and Carley; and his sister Gerda of Germany.
