John Howard Watson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2020, at the age of 96, John Howard Watson (Alliance, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Paul Daniel Watson (Lori); his parents, John Daniel and Mary Patterson Watson; his sister Jean; and his brother-in-law Dale Barry.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Watson (Borcherding); his children, Mark Howard Watson (Denise), Bruce Edward Watson (Anne) and Janet Marie Smith (Samuel Smith); his grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Watson (Jene), Hannah Jean Blumenthal (Ben), John Raymond Watson, Jess Edward Watson, Sara Mary Cummings (Cory), Amy Leigh Kulas (Tyler), Nathaniel Howard Smith (Jenny), Rebecca Mary Smith, Eric Benjamin Smith, Tyler Edward Smith (Alanna), Ryan Daniel Smith and Julia Ann Smith; and his great grandchildren, Jasper, Brock, Evie Smith and Levi Howard Blumenthal. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchild.

The family requests that attendees wear masks inside the church and practice social distancing.

The family requests charitable donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial or Regional West Hospice.
