We bid farewell to John David Dietrich (Alliance, Nebraska), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 18, 2025 at the age of 67. John David touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though John David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Dietrich (Buchfink) and Marvin Dietrich. He is survived by: his daughters, Abby Haun (Nicholas) and Annie Ruiz (Brett); his brothers, Douglas Dietrich and Michael Dietrich (Gayle); and his granddaughter Evelyn Ruiz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Episcopal Church (312 W 16th St, Alliance, NE 69301).
