He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Small and Clara Small (Kenter); his wife Vickie J. Cooklin; his children, Kelli Erickson of Lincoln, Joni Peters (Rod Stettner) of Sidney and Zachary Small (Heidi) of Alliance; his grandchildren, Lindsey Erickson, Jacob Erickson, Conner Erickson, Brandon Mundt (Carley), Shelby Davis (Ty), Travis Garska (Hannah), Benjamin Cassatt-Reina, Mia Reina, Jayden Cassett-Steele, Freya Small and Sawyer Small; his great grandchildren, Liam Erickson, Avalon Mundt, Luna Mundt, Walker Davis, Wyatt Davis and Waivlyn Davis; his siblings, Kathy Stegall of St. Joseph, MO and Kenneth Small (Lynn) of Omaha; his mother-in-law Norma Cooklin of Spirit Lake, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Larry and Janice Cooklin of Omaha. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
