She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby; and her brothers-in-law, Wayne Sides and Carl Anstette. She is survived by: her parents, Frank Thoendel and Ruth Thoendel; her daughters, DeeAnn Nason (Roger), Vic Bolek (Rick) and Kathy Reeves (Kip); her grandchildren, Adam Bolek (Kristy), Jenny Lanik (Nate), Joni Sautter (Mike), Izzy Thompson (Gene) and Ryan Dorshorst (Clare); her great grandchildren, Rasine, Taylee, Espen, Brinlee, Kyden, Jack, Jillian and Maggie; and her siblings, Dolores Anstette, Virginia Sides, Frank Thoendel (Maureen) and Ken Thoendel (Ginger). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Joanie Marie Duryea, 82, died Sunday, December 16th, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's at her home at Highland Park Care Center.
