He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lewis and Virginia Lewis. He is survived by: his son James Lewis Jr.; his grandchildren, Emmanuel (Cabello), Surenity, James Lewis III, Xavier, Destiny and Gabriel (Hernandez); and his siblings, Steve Lewis (Rose), Norma Jean Lewis and Larry Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
