He is survived by: his children, Elva Nunez Montoya, Renato Nunez, Damian Bearshield, Daniel Bearshield, Anna Lisa Bearshield, Amanda Bearshield, Leon Bearshield, Camilla Nunez, Natalie Nunez, Carla Nunez and Pedro Nunez; his siblings, Sergio Nunez, Lilly Gutierrez (Able) and Alicia Espinoza (Francisco); his sons-in-law, Jim Crum, Ramon Zuniga and Chuey Munoz; and his grandchildren, Francisco T. Resendiz, David M. Perez, Manuel Munoz, Gustavo Munoz, James Crum, Lucas Crum, Nikolas Zuniga, Ofelia Zuniga, Corrina Zuniga, Olivia Zuniga, Kory Nunez, Carter Nunez, Maxine Nunez, Misun Nunez, Autumn Nunez and Kody Nunez. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM. A wake was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Home of Daughter (6380 Otoe Rd, Alliance, NE 69301).
