He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ray and Katheryn E. Ward (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Jessie Ward of Alliance; his daughters, Katheryn Herbaugh of Cheyenne, WY, Glenda Pratt (Doug) of Berea, NE and Janet Votruba (Kevin) of Riverton, WY; and his sister Dixie Jensen of Holdrege, Nebraska.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and their spouses, 9 great-grandchildren and their spouses, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alliance Eagles Club.
