It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Lienemann (Alliance, Nebraska), born in Norfolk, Nebraska, who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry D Lienemann and Emma Lienemann (Wachter); his son Steven; his brother Ron; his grandson Brian; and his nephew Lowell.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his sons, Ron of Rushville and Barry of Rushville; his daughter-in-law Shirley; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou. He is also survived by four grandsons, and seven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Church in Sidney, Veterans State Cemetery at Alliance Foundation or Panhandle Blocks Quilts of Valor Alliance.
