Schoeneman (Alliance, Nebraska), born in Bayard, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 82, on October 24, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Schoeneman and Eva Schoeneman (Asmus); his daughter Debbie Lynn Bannan; and his siblings, Hank Schoeneman (Viola), Irene Pfenning (Albert), Christina Martin (Dave), Sarah Gabel (Leslie), Martha Gabel (Raymond) and Mary Vogel (Ed).

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn M. Schnell; his children, Keith Schoeneman (Teresa), Scott Schoeneman (Cindy) of Alliance and Janet Workman (Craig) of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Sarah Bannan, Trent Bannan (Gina), Rachel Schoeneman, Anna Schoeneman, Seth Schoeneman, Renata Schoeneman, Evan Schoeneman, Miranda Workman, Makenzie Workman and Grant Workman; his great grandchildren, Ross Boyd, Reed Boyd and Mia Bannan; and his brother John Schoeneman (Pam) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Highland Park Care Center Alzheimer's Unit or the Evangelical Free Church. Gene's family would also like to extend a tremendous thank you to the Highland Park Alzheimer's Care Unit for their exceptional care and loving support.
