It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L. Hashman of Alliance, Nebraska, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary L. Hashman to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hashman and Pearl Hashman (Bacon); his siblings, Lois Nuss and Wayne Hashman; and his nephew Ron Hashman.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon J. Henkel; his children, Gail Hystad of Colorado Springs, CO, Dena Wnorowski (Mike) of Bayfield, CO and Andy Hashman of Longmont, CO.; his grandchildren, Brandon Hystad, Ariel Curtis, Eli Monyek, Faith Hystad and Ruby Hashman; and his nephews, Steve Stone and Tom Hashman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
