It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Del Almond of Alliance, Nebraska, born in Huron, South Dakota, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Almond and Mildred Almond (Dague); his siblings, Doug Almond, Clinton Almond, Burt Almond, Robert Almond and Gleva Horning; his siblings-in-law, Jack Jordan, Robynn Almond, Judy Stone and Mary Williams; his son Jeff; and also, Dorothy Kofler and Leo Kofler.

He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughters, Kelly Lowry (Sean) of Omaha, Jennifer Gasseling (Ryan) of Hemingford and Beth Cook of North Platte; his grandchildren, Karston Lowry, Natalie Gasseling, Lauren Gasseling, Hunter Cook and Kennedi Cook; his siblings, Norm Almond (Debbie), Glenda Hecht (Randy), Rocky Almond (Lonnie) and Teresa Schelle (Dave); his siblings-in-law, Linda Almond, June Almond, Jeanne Jordan, Linda Hulst (Tom), Robert Kofler (Gretchen), Mike Williams and Jim Horning; and his daughter Jill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Salvation Army of Huron, South Dakota, the American Heart Association, the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, or an organization of the donor's choice in Del's honor.
