He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francis Bernard and Helen Girard (Newberry); his wife Betty Brost; his children, Jeff Girard (Anita), Dennis Girard (Marina), Jack Girard, Ande Girard, Terry Girard (Lori), Jason Girard, Cindy Girard and Erin Shrewsbury (Rhett); his siblings, Joe Girard (Mary), James Girard, Tom Girard and Helen Knapp; and his granddaughter Maddy Girard. He was also cherished by 9 children, have many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
