With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Shrewsbury (Alliance, Nebraska), born in Valentine, Nebraska, who passed away on January 28, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Richard and Dorothy May Lewis (Carpenter); and her siblings, George Lewis, Mary Dennis and Dick Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Penny (Dave Johannes), Pepper Shrewsbury Roberson of Chadron, Tom (Peggy Shrewsbury), Ted (Laura Shrewsbury) and Kris Shrewsbury of Rapid City, SD.; and her sister Linda Sutphen of Alliance. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
The family would prefer memorials be given to any horse sanctuary.
