He was predeceased by: his parents, Concepcion Soto and Ysabel Soto (Ayala); his sisters, Helen Vallejo and Marie Vallejo; his friend Pilar Vasquez; and also Rosie Arouchon (Vasquez).
He is survived by: his children, Albert Soto, Jr. and Sandra Soto-Mortaro (Peter); his wife Margaret E. Vera of Bayard; his grandchildren, Anton, Eric (Dana), Koren (Troy) and Jill (Chris); his great grandchildren, Molly, Kady, Liam, Cameron, Gabriella and Tristan; his siblings, Margaret Sanchez of Scottsbluff and Alfred Soto (Jayne) of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and his brothers-in-law, Tomas Vera of Tucson and Ernest Vera (Lucille) of Bayard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or St. Agnes Academy.
