David K. Podany Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David K. Podany of Allen, Nebraska, who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth George and Lucille Theresa Podany (Hunke); his sisters, Shelly Podany and Linda Stepanek; and his brothers-in-law, Scott Weatherholt, Ken Lehman and Vic Stepanek.
He is survived by: his wife Mona Rae Randazzo (Ramona) of Allen; his children, Matthew Podany (Janine) of Omaha and Holly Colling (Jonathon) of Omaha; his stepchildren, Jim Patten (Dawn) of Omaha, Tracy Coleman of Gretna and Michelle Patten of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Oliver Colling, Max Colling, Ruby Colling, Lily Podany, Charlotte Podany and Elsie Podany; his stepgrandchildren, Alyssa Patten, Ava Patten, Alex Patten and Emma Coleman; and his siblings, LoAnn Belz (Larry) of Lincoln, Karan Lehmann of Cedar Bluffs, Marlene Gottschall (Paul) of Shelby, Diann Marotz (Mike) of Stanton, Cheryl Weatherholt of Stanton and Greg Podany (Bonnie) of Stanton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (412 E 8th St, Wayne, NE 68787). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church (510 S Wilbur St, Dixon, NE 68732).
