He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus "Johnny" Bennett and Katherine Bennett (Brown); his daughter Cathy Powell; his grandson Mark Brockman; his sisters, Jean Preisendorf and Holly Pfeifer; his nephew Richard Aldana; his brothers-in-law, Gary Vogt, Darryl Bayne, Walt Stenske, Calvin Lytle and Randall "Old Goat" Condy; his nephew Daniel Condy; and his stepfather Roy Riggle.
He is survived by: his grandson Matt Bennett (Jessica); his great grandchild Baileigh; his grandchildren, Nicola Bennett (Max Walker) and Tyler Brockman (Whitney); his great grandchild Eliora; his granddaughter Cassandra Brockman; his great grandchild Breana; his grandchildren, Anthony Snider (AJ Gerdes), Zachariah Brockman (Vanessa Valle) and Lindsay Powell; and his sisters, Kaye Bayne and Diane Walton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
