He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cornwell and Blanche Cornwell (Green); and his siblings, Leslie, James, Jasper, Dorothy Channer and Mary Channer.
He is survived by: his wife Connie of Albion; his children, Bobb Cornwell of Belgrade, Jeffrey Cornwell (Krystal Collins) of Newman Grove, Jylean Cornwell-Hopkins of Omaha and Ryan Cornwell (Jean) of Columbus; his sister Edith Knutson (Elmer) of El Paso, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Cornwell of Fullerton and Kay Cornwell of Belgrade. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
