She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew John and Jude Ann Valasek (Vandenberg); and her siblings, Denise Valasek, Katie Valasek, Mary Koenig (Valasek) and James Valasek.
She is survived by: her son Jesse Cook (Rita Cook); her husband Roy Ketteler of Petersburg; her children, Sonja (Russ Philbrick), Martin VanConet of Huron and Amanda VanConet of Malcolm; her siblings, Margaret Lee of Lynch, John Valasek of Columbus, Loretta Asche of Malcolm, Rita Hellbusch of Fullerton and Ann Peterson of Chandler, Arizona; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Katherine Philbrick of Surprise, Helen Philbrick of Lyman, Cora and Lydia Cook of Wolsey.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (2305 S R Rd, Petersburg, NE 68652).
