He is survived by: his wife Velma Mielak of Albion, NE; his children, Tim Barnes (Johanna) of Wayne, NE, Eric Barnes (Stacy) of Iowa City, IA and Katrina Barnes (Bob Hubert) of Chicago, IL; his grandchild Claire Adame (Jorge) of Elkhorn, NE; his children, Elle Barnes of Wayne, NE, Laine of Iowa City, IA, Lachlan of Iowa City, IA, Leni Barnes of Iowa City, IA and Henry Hubert of Chicago, IL; and his siblings, Gale Barnes (Deanna) of Columbus, NE and Karen Weelborg of Blair, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
