He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Nelson and Dorothy Nelson (Woods); his son-in-law David Riese; and his brother-in-law William Krohn. He is survived by: his wife Jeannice Nelson of Albion, NE; his children, Sherry Riese of Norfolk, NE, Rick Nelson (Connie) of Albion, NE and Randy Nelson (Andrea) of Albion, NE; his grandchildren, Dustin, Kalin, Stacy, Derek, Brett, Gina, Mack and Emma; his sister Virginia Krohn of Albion, NE; his niece Nancy Ahlers (Terry); and his nephews, Charles Krohn (Cheryl) of Albion, NE and Ronald Krohn (Nancee) of Albion, NE. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for a later designation.
