With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle F. Klassen of Albion, Nebraska, who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Klassen and Mary Klassen (Wlaschin); his brothers, Joe, Jerome and Bob; his siblings-in-law, Bob Streeter, Dewey Hinze, JoAnn Klassen and Mavis Klassen; and his nephews, Leon Hinze and Bill Streeter.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Eileen Bittner of Albion, NE; his children, Audrey Figgner (David) of Primrose, NE and Scott Klassen (Michelle) of Elkhorn, NE; his grandchildren, Lyndsey, David Figgner III of Primrose, NE, Elizabeth and Bradley Klassen of Elkhorn, NE; and his siblings, Florence Streeter, Mary Ann Hinze and Leo Klassen (Judy) of Albion, NE. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Current Covid-19 DHM's in effect, including social distancing, will be followed at all services and masks will be required for those in attendance.
