Julia E. Shaw Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Julia E. Shaw of Albion, Nebraska, who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Martin and Pansy Irene Martin (Phillips); her husband Bob of Patrick's Catholic Church; her granddaughter Jessica; and her siblings, Don Martin (Melsina), Midge Hickey (Fritz), Mary Helen Magdance (Mag), Ed Martin (Leona), Ann Day (Hank) and Kay Shoemaker (Red).
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Coughtry of Columbus, NE, Mary Shaw of Albion, NE, Bob Shaw of Payson, AZ, Ruby Prothman (Jim) of West Point, NE, Helen Majerus (John) of Cedar Rapids, NE and Ed Shaw of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church-Albion (524 W Church St, Albion, NE 68620). A wake will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
