He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Karabel and Wilma Karabel (Karmann); and his brother Larry Karabel. He is survived by: his siblings, Rex Karabel of Albion, NE, Ross Karabel (Deb) of Clarksville, AR, Leann Ohnemus of David City, NE and Linda Karabel. He is also survived by numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and one great-great-nephew; along with many cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Levander Funeral Home (1555 S 6th St, Albion, NE 68620). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
