We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2023, at the age of 93, Dorothy Jean Belgum of Albion, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nissen and Mary Nissen (Salber); her husband LeRoy Belgum; her daughter Denise Nelson; her granddaughter Michala Belgum; her great great grandchildren, Oliver Ramirez and Owen Grosserode; and her siblings, Marjorie Von Bonn (Eugene), Gerald Nissen (Marilyn) and LaVern Nissen.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Strain (Terry) of Genoa, Michael Belgum of Shelby, Douglas Belgum (Carolyn) of Cedar Rapids, Eric Belgum (Chris) of Hastings and Allen Belgum (Pamela) of Valparaiso; and her sister-in-law Arlene Nissen of Petersburg. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren.
