She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Dee, Phyllis, Donna and Bob; her husband Donald Lawrence Rutten of Albion; her parents, Henry Diekmann and Blanche Diekmann; her siblings, Don Diekmann and Dee Laposky; her parents-in-law, Dick and Madeline Rutten; her aunts and uncles, Liz, Ves Kleeve and Ray Tenski; her nephew Tony Tenski; her children, Cindy Paulsen (Ronald) of Meadow Grove, NE and Jarrod Paulsen (Amanda); her grandchildren, Nox, Lux and Kix; her daughters, Maggie Shanahan, Cathy Tierney (Mark) of Logan, IA and Aryn Moyer (Ryan); her grandchildren, Robby, Wesley and Meliny; her daughter Kailee Coleman (Zach); her granddaughter Olive; her daughter Regan Faircloth (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Angella, Rhiley, Ellenor and Lillian; her daughters, Cara Furgerson (John) of Elmwood, NE and Kolbi Tomka (Jake); her grandchildren, Elena, Maverick and Zeppelin; her children, Shelbi Sperling (Logan) and Troy Rutten (Brandy); her grandchild Noa Rutten of Omaha, NE; her stepgrandson Nate Tierney (Amanda); her children, Gavin, Tatum and Ben Tierney (Corri); her grandchildren, Colby, Chloe, Claire, Cymber and Cade; her siblings, Phyllis Henely, Donna Hutchinson of Burke, SD and Bob Diekmann (Cindy) of Gregory, SD; her sisters-in-law, Dorthy Diekmann and Mary Tenski; and also, Vicki and Steve Gragert. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for a later designation.
