We bid farewell to Roby V. Woods Jr. (Ainsworth, Nebraska), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 3, 2025 at the age of 75. Roby touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Woods and Iona Woods (Eddy); his grandparents, Francis, Charlotte Woods, Lawrence and Myrtle Eddy; and his parents-in-law, Homer and Georgia Blank.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Woods (Blank) of Ainsworth; his grandsons, Ethan, Caleb, Brody Woods of Gardner, Austin and Hunter Beatty of Louisburg; his siblings, Daniel Woods of Ainsworth, Norma Grande of Saugus, MA and Lola Mitchell (Bob) of Bourbonnais, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Cheryl Mizner of Long Pine, NE and Kristina Stewart of Ainsworth.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ainsworth Church of the Nazarene (253 N Elm St, Ainsworth, NE 69210).
