With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen R. (Voss) Davison (Ainsworth, Nebraska), born in Ponca, Nebraska, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Karen R. (Voss) Davison to pay them a last tribute.
Though Karen R. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karen R. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Edmond and Eula Aline Voss (Gloshen); her sister Maxine Thompson; and her son-in-law Gregory Lohmeyer. She is survived by: her children, Denise Crofutt of Long Pine, NE, Debra Konkel (Gary) of Centennial, CO, Michael "Jacques" Davison of Bradley, AR, Jesse Colburn (Carrie) of Bradshaw, NE and Mark Colburn (Becky) of Henderson; and her brother Kenneth Voss of Ainsworth. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hoch Funeral Home (1320 E 4th St, Ainsworth, NE 69210). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grandview Cemetery (654 Main St, Long Pine, NE 69217).
