It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Dodds (Ainsworth, Nebraska), who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank "Doc" Dodds and Renona Dodds (Reed); and his brothers-in-law, Shaun Schipporeit and Mike Flynn. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Dodds; his children, Christina Paddock (Jason Stec) and Cory Dodds (Michelle); his grandchildren, Shylo Paddock (Luke Pullara), Emmett Paddock, Ayden Dodds and Bridger Dodds; his siblings, Spud Dodds, Steve Dodds (Lindsey), Jim Dodds (Penny), Dave Dodds (Brittni Hart), Ford Dodds (Kodi), Mary Hite, Cathi Flynn, Cindy Churchill (Dean), Diane Watts (Chop) and Neena Miller (Allen); and his brother-in-law Jim Teter (Betty). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hoch Funeral Home (1320 E 4th St, Ainsworth, NE 69210). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
