It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Marie (Sherman) Keim of Ainsworth, Nebraska, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Harry and Mabel Iva Sherman (Higginson); her husband Erwin Keim; her former husband Glen Sorensen; her brothers, Howard, Harold, Lloyd, Jim, Kenneth and Morris; her daughter-in-law Chris Sorensen; and her stepgrandson Ryan Keim.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Loeb (Milt) of Grand Island and Steven Sorensen of Burwell; her grandchildren, Anne, Tangee, Chrissy and Shane; her brother Don Sherman (Elaine) of O'Neill; her stepchildren, Dale Keim (Wanda) of Stayton, Oregon and Charlotte Braden (Joe) of Stayton, Oregon; and her sister-in-law Betty Sherman of Brule. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren; nine step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to the Ainsworth Senior Center in Marie's name.
