Virgil Henry Remmers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2019, at the age of 83, Virgil Henry Remmers (Adams, Nebraska) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Diedrich Remmers and Johanna Buhr Remmers; his son Virgil Andrew Remmers; and his brothers-in-law, Diedrich Dorn, Donald Dorn, Marvin DeVries, Arthur Wallman and Marvin Spilker.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Meta Ann Dorn; his daughters, Rebecca Williams (Rick) of Lincoln, Ellen Zvolanek (James) of Wymore and Marya Dockery of Lincoln; his grandchildren, Cassandra Rebecca Lonowski (Kalvin), Joshua John Krueger, Jill Kathleen Bruns (Austin), Jayni Jo Burbach (Christopher) and Andrew James Dockery; his great grandchild Holt Floyd Lonowski; his siblings, Larry Remmers (Darlene) of Pickrell, Marlene Wallman of Beatrice, Ethylene "Lee" Spilker of Pickrell and Kathryn Baehr (Ron) of Beatrice; and his siblings-in-law, George Dorn of Cameron, MO, Marlene Dorn of Beatrice and Doris DeVries of Lincoln. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Wymore Food Bank and Zion Lutheran Cemetery of rural Pickrell with Shirley Martin and Peggy Henrichs in charge.
