He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gronewold and Anna Gronewold (Schuster); his parents-in-law, Orville and Grace Schmidt; his sister Margery; his siblings-in-law, Robert Dunlap, Rosalie Quackenbush and Susan Clement; and his nephews, Steve Dunlap and Rodney Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Schmidt; his children, Scott (Pamela), Russell (Jane), Mark Gronewold (Pamela) and Cindy Coffey (Rick); his grandchildren, Jenna Huttenmaier (Curtis), Jonathan Gronewold (Emily), Joel Gronewold (Jocelyn), Caleb Gronewold (Allie), Anna Gronewold, Becca Schneider (Drew), Sara Gronewold, Kylie Darlington (Zach), Michael Gronewold, Jasmine Caban (Eli) and Derrick Coffey; his great grandchildren, Weylan, Calvin, Arianna and Vin; and his sister Marilyn Zimmerman (Ernest). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Social distancing will be observed and masks are required.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the family for future designation.
