With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie H. Schoen of Adams, Nebraska, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on July 27, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Jurgens and Elizabeth Jurgens (Zimmerman); her husband Arnold Schoen; her siblings, Hilda Schuster (Albert) and Reinder Jurgens (Dorothy); her sons-in-law, Galen Behrens and Terry Pittman; her parents-in-law, Henry and Katie Schoen; and her siblings-in-law, Geneva Parde (Wilfred) and Robert Schoen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lavon Behrens of Adams, Linda VanEngen (Calvin) of Lincoln and Doreen Wallman (Robert) of Adams; her grandchildren, Spencer Behrens (April), Marshall Behrens (Stephanie), Grant Behrens (Megan), Katie Lane, Kelly VanEngen (Jeff Shaw), Matthew VanEngen (Lischelle), Melissa Denning (Michael), Laura Fikar (Chad) and Jamison Wallman; and her sister-in-law Anora Schoen of Beatrice. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the family for future designation.
