With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glen A. Oosting of Adams, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glen A. Oosting to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garret Oosting and Mary Oosting (Shoemaker); his siblings, Lorin Oosting and Carol McNeil; and his siblings-in-law, Len Stelmach, Bill Gushard, Jim Horstman, Shirley Horstman and Mabel Oosting.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Oosting of Adams; his children, Harlan Oosting (Janet) of Adams and Sherryl Oosting (Doug) of Lincoln; his siblings, Merl Oosting of Lincoln and Vera Gushard of Lincoln; and his siblings-in-law, Denise Horstman, Lois Stelmach, Esther Oosting, Ron Horstman, Gary Horstman (Darlene) and Joe McNeil. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services - Adams (623 9th St, Adams, NE 68301). A prayer was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:15 AM at the American Lutheran Church (601 Ash St, Adams, NE 68301). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Sterling Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice.
