George Burrows Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Burrows (Adams, Nebraska), who passed away on February 21, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chase Burrows and Blanche Burrows (Graves); his sisters, Dorothy Young (Clyde) and Roberta Schmid (Norman); and his son Jay Burrows.
He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Greg Burrows (Doretta), Mark Burrows (Cheryl) and Laureen Ehmen (Roger); and his grandchildren, B. J. Burrows (Kristy), Andy Burrows (Jordan), Lyndsey and Grant Ehmen. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel (722 Main St, Adams, NE 68301). A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the Adams United Methodist Church with the funeral home in charge.
