She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Damme and Emma Damme (Niebrugge); her husband Harold Wellensiek; and her siblings, Edna Earl (Fred Schweppe), Esta Behrens (Bill), Elmer Damme (Marie) and Eldon Damme (Margaret Ann).

She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Dan Lueders of Elk Creek; and her granddaughter Christine Wellensiek (Jake Hesson) of Lincoln. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
