He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Hale and Faye Etta Hale; and his siblings, Kenneth Hale, Doris Lukehart and Norma Orth.
He is survived by: his wife Bernice Bruns of Adams; and his children, David Hale (Sandy) of Omaha, Carol Hale (Monte Marschman) of Lincoln and Steven Hale of Adams.
A memorial has been established to the Adams Fire and Rescue Squad of Adams.
